Code of Conduct
Spirit is at the heart of what we do. By registering for NEO Spirit Summit, every athlete, coach, parent, and spectator agrees to uphold this code.
Athletes
- ✓Display sportsmanship at all times — to teammates, opponents, judges, and staff.
- ✓Respect the venue, equipment, and all facility property.
- ✓Wear approved uniform and follow safety/grooming guidelines.
- ✓No social media posting of other teams' routines without consent.
Coaches & Staff
- ✓Complete background checks and submit credentials prior to event.
- ✓Be present at all warm-ups and on-deck calls for your team.
- ✓Address concerns through the head official — never directly with judges.
- ✓Model the behavior you expect from your athletes.
Parents & Spectators
- ✓Cheer for ALL teams — positive energy only.
- ✓No coaching or shouting instructions from the audience.
- ✓No flash photography during routines (it's a safety hazard).
- ✓Treat venue staff and volunteers with respect.
Violations
Violations may result in warnings, point deductions, ejection from the venue, or disqualification. Severe or repeat violations may result in a ban from future NEO Cheer Spirit events. Report concerns to neospiritcheer@gmail.com.
